Ugland Construction AS delivers marine services to Transmares for construction platform, transport by barge, with tug and float-off unloading.
Four concrete foundations of 1000 mt each were cast directly on the barge's deck in the port of Tallinn during Q2 and Q3 of 2021.
After the construction work was completed, the barge was towed up to Finland, close to its installation location. In close cooperation with Transmares, local tugs, Alfons Hakans and Ugland Construction AS, the cargo was safely floated off at its delivery location.
Scope of work for Ugland Construction AS included: barge for construction and transport, tow with tug, towing manual, float-off manual and engineering work such as mooring arrangement, seafastening design and calculations.
